The Brahma Kumaris is the largest spiritual university in the
world, with 8,500 branches in over 100 countries with
more than 825,000 students from all walks of life.

As an international institution, The Brahma Kumaris is dedicated
to serving peoples of all nations from the grass roots
to government levels through its global network of
meditation centers, spiritual academies and retreat
places.

All Brahma Kumaris branches are administered by The Brahma Kumaris
World Spiritual University (BKWSU), headquartered in Mt.
Abu, India.

The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization (BKWSO) is the
United States branch of BKWSU.
·
BKWSU is a non-governmental organization in general consultative
status with the United Nations Economic and Social
Council (ECOSOC), in consultative status with The United
Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF) and affiliated to the
Department of Public Information (DPI). The Brahma
Kumaris are also the recipient of seven UN Peace
Messenger awards.
